As EPR Group's founder and Managing Director, Catherine brings over 35 years of experience as an environmental attorney to support EPR Group's clients. As an early adopter of the EPR programs, Catherine is ahead of the learning curve and brings unparalled expertise to the field.

Catherine's law practice, Environmental General Counsel, serves as a strategic partner with the EPR Group when needed. This partnership provides seamless access to legal expertise about the California program alongside EPR Group's multidisciplinary consulting services on a nation-wide basis.

​​Before founding EPR Group, Catherine served as an equity partner with two leading Bay Area law firms. Catherine has a proven track record of successfully guiding businesses through complex regulatory landscapes, minimizing their environmental risks, and achieving their business objectives.

Catherine is a recognized thought leader in the EPR packaging, paper, and food service ware programs and has published numerous articles, including Proposed Regulation Targets Prop 65 Chemicals in Packaging and South Korea Models a Robust EPR Program and Hosts International Efforts at INC-5.

Catherine is on the Advisory Board of Proposition 65 Clearinghouse News, the Advisory Board of the Executive Committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco's Environmental Section, and serves in a leadership role with the National Stewardship Action Council.

 

Catherine graduated from Smith College and holds a law degree from the University of Virginia.
